There has been a public house on the site of The Crown for around 400 years.
Situated on the corner of Black Jack Street and West Market Place, under the towering presence of the town’s beautiful parish church, the pub underwent major reconstruction work following a fire in 1911.
Since then, The Crown has undergone several transformations and its existing form expertly combines the feel of a traditional inn with the vibrancy of a modern pub.
Popular with tourists, local residents and businesspeople alike, The Crown is THE must visit hostelry in Cirencester and the Cotswolds.
